New Gran Turismo 5 shots and confessions from series creator Kazunori Yamauchi
With Forza fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of their latest racing iteration, PlayStation fans are looking on with a very deep shade of green.
Perhaps aware of this Sony has decided to ease the pain just a little by releasing a fresh batch of Gran Turismo 5 shots.
“Of course, I keep a keen eye on the competition”
Last week we spoke exclusively to GT series creator Kazunori Yamauchi and he confessed that he keeps a keen eye on the competition and when asked what he thought of the gaming rivals said: “Well, of course, I keep my eye on them from a distance. My observations tend to more often than not centre on, 'Oh, so they're concentrating extra hard on this', or 'oh, so they're not worried about that', or 'they've really got a lot of passion for that'. All my observations are first-impression sort of things. I don't look at the games in too much detail. Just a one-glance observation is good enough. I think about what they're trying to do, how much time they're spending, how they're going about putting the game together, how do they feel about the game as they're making it… that sort of thing.”
Not the words of a man worried that his series will be upstaged it seems and judging by these glossy new shots we’re starting to understand why.
