Sony: 'No Comment' On GT5 Editor

Recent reports suggesting Gran Turismo 5 will include a track editor have been neither confirmed or denied by Sony

A spokesperson told us Sony's official line: "We haven't confirmed this and aren't offering any other comment at this time."

“We haven't confirmed this”

Numerous stories are circulating regarding the inclusion of a track editor, with E4G reporting that a Polyphony Digital representative confirmed it themselves, saying: “Yes, it will have a track editor. You will be able to rebuild a track from scratch or edit the tracks that are already put in Gran Turismo 5.”

It would certainly be a welcome inclusion, and a great bonus for all the gamers that have been waiting patiently for the series' return. It would also be something of a first for a glossy current-gen racer of GT's calibre. Guess we'll have to continue being patient to find out for sure, eh?
