Games these days are pretty much made for teens and kids, with few actually targeted to the more adult and mature audience. FPS games fall heavily into this category, among a few others. We really don't help ourselves sometimes when it comes to being culturally accepted as mainstream entertainment such as cinema. To be perfectly honest, I would like to play a game where the main villain in the game doesn't immediately appear to be evil or something, like Cage said.
