New PixelJunk to be unveiled at GDC

PixelJunk creator Dylan Cuthbert will reveal the next game in the PixelJunk series at Games Developers Conference on March 26

Dylan has said in the past that the next PixelJunk game, which follows on the heels of PixelJunk Racers, Monsters, and Eden, will not be the dungeon crawler that was mentioned at last year's GDC.

During a recent interview Cuthbert also told us that he plans on splitting the PixelJunk games into a number of different series, each one with "slightly different themes", and although he said he wanted 5-6 titles in the current series, there are rumours that the next game will mark the start of a brand new one.

“Cuthbert told us that he plans on splitting the PixelJunk games into a number of series”

UPDATE: Dylan Cuthbert has just said via Twitter that the new PixelJunk game won't be at GDC. But he will be showing the expansion for PJEden. Thanks Joystiq.
